The Norwegian Police University College wanted to test out new teaching methods, and asked us to develop a pilot program, based on an interactive course design. The program is directed at front line management, and the thematic is based on “organisational culture and management”.
Kulturkompaniet engaged the students by using ”dialogue theatre” and ”forum theatre” methodology. By watching the actors, and based on realistic situations, the students were able to analyse and reflect on how the environment and organisational culture affect human behaviour and communication. An important purpose with our methodology, was to create interaction between the participants, and give them an arena for sharing their own experiences and competence.
The pilot project was accomplished in Stavanger and Tromsø.
