In close partnership with the client Kulturkompaniet worked with counseling and content development, project management, participant management and transport logistics. The purpose with the get-together event was to build relationships across departments and workplaces.
The organization in Aker BP is composed of various smaller companies with different traditions and culture. “One team” is central to the values that Aker BP is working for and the purpose of the summer event was to gather as many as possible from the various departments into one common experience.
The summer event was a visual concept inspired by an Italian village party. We wanted guests to be inspired to explore the various activities and food offered in the venue – which also makes it easier to connect with new colleagues and acquaintances across locations and departments. The guests had a feeling of being in a real Italian village, with focus on good conversations and good community.
The summer get-together event is one of most comprehensive decor and scenography jobs we have made and where everything has been self-produced. We chose Sørmarka Arena as a location because we wanted a flexibility in size and we could add an experience in both the indoor and outdoor areas.
In addition to the evening event we assisted Aker BP with the planning and execution of four day-based events for different departments.
